Bringing Together the Magnificant Tech 7even
It is hard to imagine a more exciting, but at the same time challenging time for today’s CIOs. Balancing the maintenance of existing systems with ensuring that the organisation is keeping one eye on all the advantages that the latest developments have to offer, is no mean feat.
According to independent research we conducted with UK IT Decision Makers earlier this year, cloud (43%), cyber security (43%) and AI (37%) are going to be the biggest enterprise technology trends in 2017. With this in mind, IP EXPO Europe 2016 has brought together seven magnificent technology innovators across these key topic areas, to educate this year’s attendees on how key IT issues are going to be affecting businesses and humanity alike.
From the leading authority on AI and the ‘Father of Java’ to the creator of the ‘MySpace Worm’ and the world’s most well regarded cloud experts, the Tech 7even are some of the most influential technology minds of our time and are sure to make this year’s keynote program is the best yet.
IP EXPO Europe’s Tech 7even include: global AI influencer, Nick Bostrom; the ‘Father of Java’, James Gosling; cyber security legend, Eugene Kaspersky; revered cyber specialist, Samy Kamkar; cloud champions, Mark Russinovich and Gavin Jackson; and human/cyber expert, Dr Jessica Barker.

Now chief software architect at Liquid Robotics, he spends his time writing Open Source software for the Waveglider, an autonomous ocean-going robot which provides REAL-TIME ocean data collection and communications. The Wave Glider just swam 2,808 miles helping fight illegal fishing in the South Pacific. Gosling will be taking to the stage to give attendees a look into the creation of Java and to discuss the intersection of cloud computing and the world of remote digital communications, IoT and robotics.

Undoubtedly one of the world’s most renowned cyber security experts, Eugene Kaspersky has been involved in defensive technologies since the 90s, establishing Kaspersky Labs in 97 and winning awards for his contribution to IT security awareness on a global scale. This expert eye for potential zero day threats and understanding of the latest cybercriminal techniques are truly remarkable and will outline his view in his seminar Judgment Day for Critical Infrastructure.
4. Samy Kamkar
Samy is probably best known for creating the MySpace worm, the fastest spreading virus of all time, along with his work being cited by the NSA, triggering hearings on Capitol Hill, and being the basis for security advancements across virtually all web browsers, smartphones, and other technologies. He’ll highlight the insecurities in every day technologies through his seminar Secret Hacking Techniques which is described as revealing something fun, fascinating and terrifying!
5. Mark Russinovich
Join Mark as he describes how to leverage the most of its principles and solutions to fully embrace cloud in Clearing Last Mile Barriers for Cloud Adoption.
6. Gavin Jackson
As the leading Cloud Computing business, Amazon Web Services presents their MD in the UK, Gavin Jackson, who is responsible for driving the teams and strategies that are helping customers and partners to power Britain’s digital economy.
