The CIO WaterCooler invited 100 CIOs from a mixture of industries, size of companies and regions to share their organisations position with regards to the importance their companies have placed on digital transformation; the challenges they face implementing these changes.
This survey aimed to find out how CIOs and IT leaders view their organisations digitally enablement stance. By asking whether they agreed with the following statements the survey hoped to identify not only where companies stood in terms of the transformation but also where some of the challenges exist.
As part of the survey we asked the CIOs to judge how satisfied they were (out of 10) by the level of investment being made by their organisations. The vast majority of respondents felt indeed positive with regard to the investment level made, giving an average score of 6.1 out of 10.
However those IT leaders responsible for operations in both UK & Ireland, and the rest of the world (ROW) were clearly less satisfied with the level of investment than those from Europe and North America.
Do you feel that the UK is doing enough to keep up with the digitisation of products and services compared to other markets?
